'A Six Month Season' is the new one man band project of former guitarist of the melodic hardcore band 'BIOS' (Kostas Apostolidis).

"After 13 years actively involved as a guitarist (numerous live shows, recording 3 discs) and a founding member of BIOS, I wanted to experiment with other kinds of music, regardless of the 'hard sound' that has shaped and influenced who I am today, something which I consider as positive.

Before I started playing the guitar and being in bands, I was influenced by sounds from the alternative, rock and indie scene. This scene was actually the reason I joined the field.

Performing with 'BIOS', I always had at the back of my mind that these 'alternative music concerns' should be expressed. I just had to do this somehow. Something that I could not accomplish with the band because of the sound.

Leaving the band, I realized that I had the opportunity to start with what I really loved. Pure devotion and affection to create music without plans for live gigs and without any big future expectations. And because I did not want anyone else to interfere, I wanted it to be me very own work, I started this music 'seasonal' project baptized as 'A six month season'.
